2012 - 2013 PIRATE'S CREW DANCE TEAM

| Tiffany Durr is in her 11th year of teaching and coaching. She is a National Board Certified Teacher who has been at Pearl 10 years. This is her 9th year to coach the dance team. Mrs. Durr is a 1996 graduate of Pearl High School. She completed her bachelors and masters degrees at USM and completed an education specialist degree at JSU. In addition to coaching the high school dance team, Mrs. Durr is the 10th grade counselor. She was involved in tap, ballet, jazz, and baton for 15 years as a student and has taught dance classes and judged dance competitions. She currently serves as the dance consultant for the Spirit Advisory Board for the Mississippi High School Activities Association. She has been selected as Universal Dance Association’s Most Valuable Coach at summer camp for three consecutive years. She has coached 1 National Dance Team Championship Semi-Finalist Team, 4 State Championship Teams, 3 State Championship 2nd Place Teams, 1 State Championship 3rd. Place Team, 7 Superior Teams, 35 UDA All-Americans, 80 UDA All-Superior Dancers, 14 dancers who have gone on to dance at the collegiate level, 6 MHSAA Best Dance Finalists, 1 All-State Dancer, 4 dancers who have gone on to dance with the Mississippi Braves Diamond Dancers, and 2 dancers who are “Saintsations” for the New Orleans Saints. She is married to Ray Durr and they have one son, Jack.
